Sarah Isabella Castillo

Hello! I am a Broadcast Journalism student in my senior year at the University of Central Florida specializing in electronic news with a minor in Spanish and International and Global Studies. I plan to graduate in December of 2024 and hope to become an MMJ reporter! My most recent internship was with WESH 2 News in Orlando, where I was a producing intern as well as an associate producer, running prompter for all the night-side shows and assisting producers with stacking rundowns, writing scripts, and doing graphics for their shows. I am a reporter for The Charge On Air and The Charge News, covering all sorts of stories happening on campus. After two years of being responsible for fund management and club organization as treasurer and secretary of UCF's National Association of Hispanic Journalists, I have been elected as Vice President while continuously reporting, editing scripts, video, and audio for NAHJ's webcast, Knightly Latino. As someone who is passionate about storytelling, it is an essential part of being human. Journalism is not only storytelling but also knowledge sharing.
